My fitness journey started with working out in high school. I would run on the treadmill and do workout circuits I found on Bodybuilding.com while my parents took classes and lifted at the local Powerhouse Gym in our hometown of Salisbury, MD. They were big influences in starting a consistent exercise routine. I didn’t realize it then but those runs on the treadmill, spin classes, and lifting circuits created a foundation that supported my love for exercise.

Overtime I became more and more serious about my personal fitness and the idea of training the mind to become tougher through physical activity. I fell in love with the idea of total body workouts. Because of this I found myself frequenting the local Fit Body Boot Camp multiple times a week and eventually twice a day! FB Boot Camp then inspired me to check out this somewhat mysterious and slightly scary thing I kept hearing about called “CrossFit”. Since summer of 2017 I’ve been shedding blood, sweat, and tears at local CrossFit gyms and haven’t turned back.

I graduated from Salisbury University with a degree in Exercise Science and went on to instruct CrossFit classes at SBYFit (formerly CrossFit Salisbury). I also had the opportunity to hold the title of Head Personal Trainer at CoreLife Healthcare in Millsboro, DE. This experience taught me much about working one-on-one with people from multiple backgrounds and with different considerations. Young, elderly, mobility issues, diabetes, weight loss goals, strength goals, men, women, no exercise experience, and those that just want to get back into a workout routine.

Since moving to Delaware, I’ve been coaching and participating in classes at the wonderful and welcoming CrossFit Unlocked. Starting in September of 2021 I opened a personal training program within the gym to allow people the opportunity to work one-on-one to reach their fitness goals.
